Fancy a quieter costal walk? - Just along from the well known Camber Sands beach, Broomhill Sands is a much quieter place. As such, it has relatively little in the way of facilities.

Just east of Camber Sands is the lesser known Broomhill. Whilst it may not be nestled amongst the sand dunes in quite the way as its neighbour Broomhill is still one of the best beaches around. There aren’t much in the way of facilities at Broomhill but there is an ice cream van during the summer months. At low tide the beach here is very flat and sandy expanse with the sea seemingly miles away. This makes it ideal for activities that require plenty of space such as sand-buggies. When the wind isn’t up it’s a perfect spot for a paddle. Broomhill is also one of the most popular kitesurfing destinations on the coast. Even if you aren’t experienced you can get lessons and hire equipment from the Kitesurf Centre here. Type of beach Sand & shingle Lifeguard service No Dogs friendly beach? May to September: dogs on a lead are allowed in marked zones.
