One of my favourite areas in Amsterdam: the IJ (water). Take the free Ferry to Amsterdam Noord (upcoming) and visit Eye or the ADAM Tower to enjoy the view/skyline! Tip: dinner or coffee at Eye or Tolhuistuin.

Not only beautiful to look at from the outside, also the inside is worth a visit. You can have drinks or something to eat in the cafe, go to the movie theater of visit the film museum.

nice view on the waterfront, great exhibitions and movies ideal for rainy days as it is a large building with good acoustics

Beautiful building with it's feet in the river IJ, with restaurant with a view and a few cinema's with populair but mostly special movies.
