If your adventures take you to Dry Falls, stop in at the quaint town of Highlands, NC. The shops are great and there are many, many amazing places to eat! Highlands is a must do in your journey.

Nice mountain town about 1 hr. 20 min. away. Some nice shopping, eateries. Drive through Cashiers along the way.
