The International Slavery Museum is on the third floor of Merseyside Maritime Museum and shares many of the same facilities, including the Quayside café and shop on the ground floor and the Maritime Dining Room on the top floor.... Free entry and a fascinating day out... Gives an overview of the slave trade with ever changing exhibitions and tours...Hear the untold stories of enslaved people and learn about historical and contemporary slavery.

focuses on the history and legacy of the transatlantic slave trade. The museum which forms part of the Merseyside Maritime Museum, consists of three main galleries which Focusing on the lives of people in West Africa, their eventual enslavement, and their continued fight for freedom. Additionally the museum discusses slavery in the modern day as well as topics on racism and discrimination.
