This is Atlanta's second airport, much smaller and located on the north side of town. This is the airport you'd fly into on smaller planes. They also regularly host air shows and other events here.

I personally go to watch planes! Plenty of parking, there is a playground and restaurants as well.

It's a rare place where you can see a lot of sky. Go there for a sunset. You can eat at the Downwind Cafe, or sit on bleachers and watch corporate jets and private planes come and go.

There are a few parks where you can sit and watch the small planes take off and land, and there are a couple of restaurants around/on the property as well.

Busy private airport, just to watch the planes. Has a kids park decent restaurant on site too.
