It wouldn’t be a complete trip to Essex, without a visit to Woodman’s Restaurant! They are famous for inventing the fried clam! A local family owned restaurant, we are always happy to support our neighbors with their family owned business. Don’t forget to get your ice cream cone out in the back parking lot in the ice cream shed!

This place is famous for friend clams and seafood - there are cheaper options nearby but this place is right on the Essex river and is has been a North Shore staple forever.
