One of American's most historical families - you can take a tour around the main house (you need a reservation) and /or have a picnic in the incredible grounds which features a beautifully manicured flower garden

The handsome Vanderbilt mansion exemplifies the high-living of the Golden Age in the Hudson Valley. Be sure to stop at Millionaires' View to take in the magnificent perspective over the Hudson River and Carskill Mountains. Vanderbilt is about 15 miles from the Inn (and about 2 miles north of the FDR Estate).
