Free zoo with monkeys, meer cats, otters and farm animals. Also a great playground for the kids.

This is a free zoo with a variety of animals to visit. It is located above Pukekura Park and is well worth a visit.

The Brooklyn Zoo is free and a lovely place to take kids. It is situated right next to the Bowl of Brooklyn and Pukekura Park.

Brooklands Zoo is a free, family focused zoo with a great payground, farmyard animals, frogs, reptiles, otters, meerkats, a brolga, monkeys and a selection of colourful birds in a free flght aviary.
