Thames Street runs through the downtown of Newport and is filled with shops and restaurants. A must do!

This is pretty much the street to walk down if you want to see "downtown Newport." Thames is divided into Upper and Lower, and you should walk both parts to get a feel of the city of Newport!

Take a walk down on Thames street in Newport, Neat coastal town to walk around, have lunch or dinner from a variety of restaurants and do a little shopping from the dozens of local stores and shops. 35 minute drive from the cottage.
