Worth a trek out to Long Island City for this masterful Indian restaurant. It is new and very popular so you need to have a reservation before you go. The food is spicy. It is very affordable for the quality of its food and not a super fancy place. Everything is excellent. Enjoy.

Indian - $ - 8 min walk - Adda is a very good Indian restaurant in the eastern part of LIC. The short menu here has delicious curries, a few tandoori dishes, and bunch of smaller things like garlic naan and cauliflower covered in cheese, plus an excellent biryani that comes with a layer of dough over the top to seal in all the moisture. Also, everything on the menu is under $20.
