Flaherty Beach

Pristine mermaid water! Pack a picnic lunch and spend the day. There are sand dunes halfway along for kids (and grown ups) to sand board on. Look for shells, have a paddle. You will need a 4WD to motor there. Otherwise it’s a good walk (3-5 km from shack)

Who needs Queensland when you have Flaherty's Beach. If you're looking to spend a day out swimming and taking photos which are instagram worthy head here. Approx 1 hour from The Weekender but worth the trip.
