This is the most popular walking track in the Mt Cook area. It crosses three swing bridges and offers stunning views of Mt Cook, glaciers and surrounding mountains. It's about 10km long and the best time to walk it is dawn.

The Hooker Valley Track is an absolute must-do. Take the 56km (approx 45-minute) drive to the White Horse Hill Campsite Carpark. From there, it's an easy 10km return walk. Amazing views all the way. Please, always take the necessary precautions when taking any hike.
