Great Japanese izakaya place just around the corner. Has a large menu selection. Get the grilled mackarel and uni rice bowl, they are tasty!

Sadly, Chad doesn’t share my love for sushi. So I don’t get to eat it very often. I've tried Izakaya Kou in the Fillmore, and it’s so good. I recommend the sea urchin sushi. $10 of pure goodness. It’s an awesome ambiance and great sake as well.
