An institution. This is where Stewart Brothers' Coffee (which became Seattle's Best Coffee Co.) got started. Come for the ambiance, the roasted nuts, ZuZu's ice cream in back, the clean offerings in the adjacent 'Minglement,' maybe pick up a used book, and hang out on the porch a while.

Our family loves stopping at the Vashon Island Coffee Roasterie as we land on the island for a great cup of coffee, latte, and pastry before making it down to the cabin. It's a cozy environment inside and you can hear and smell them roasting the beans as you sip your beverage. When the weather's nice, we enjoy sitting outside, and in the summer they serve ice cream!

My favorite coffee shop. Incredible hospitality and the best coffee and huge selection of tea. Coffee is roasted fresh there and sometimes they host live music
