Peek over the edge of the cliff to see surfers zooming just below. This is where the locals surf, don't even think about joining in here. Tourists are invited to surf at Cowell's beach, which is great for beginners.

Where else can you go to a museum dedicated to surfing? Tiny museum near the lighthouse on Westcliff drive is a fine place to start before walking along the cliff.
