Just off of the 5 Freeway inbetween downtown San Diego and the primary Beach areas is a great half day spot to visit called Old Town. Check out Casa de Bandini restaurant for a margarita and allow yourself to enjoy the culture of this great area. Enjoy the shops, the artisan jewelry, and the art as you walk through the Charming streets of Old Town.

You can ride the coaster or stop if you are headed to San Diego. There are a ton of good Mexican restaurants, fun shops with great souvenirs. The coaster stops here if you want to take the train.
