Sand beach at Riverside Park with a lifeguard on duty. Kid-friendly. The water park and playground are 1 minute walking distance away from the beach. There is a concession stand in the park.

Great park for a summer picnic or to throw a frisbee around. During July & August there’s a free live concert in the park every night from 7pm-8:30pm. Search “Kamloops Music in the Park” online for the nightly music schedule.

Riverside Park is The main city park in Kamloops. It has a nice beach area, as well as picnic tables and lots of shade from trees. A water park, public washrooms, and in the evening in the summer there is live music playing every night.
