Just 1 mile up the street. There are trails outside of the campground. There are also picnic tables for day use.

Hiking trails that are part of Joshua tree National park that are less known. Try south side loop for an easy hike, west side loop for a tougher 5 mile hike, and Warren peak for a 6 mile hike to the best view!
