Hidden on the second floor of Freemans restaurant, Banzarbar is an intimate, 20-seat bar inspired by the Antarctic expeditions of the early 20th century. For the full experience, try the 2-hour long cocktail tasting menu with accompanying seafood pairing. Otherwise, the à la carte menu is nautical-themed and features surprising low-ABV cocktails that lean on vermouth, sherry and amaro.

Hidden down a small alley off Rivington Street, Freemans is a hipster restaurant that serves local fresh farm-to-table fare. Feels like a Colonial American tavern. Great brunch too.
