Núpsstaðarskógar (Núpsstaður Woods) is the name of low-growing copse on the slopes of Mt. Eystrafjall, west of Skeiðarárjökull glacier and south of Grænalón. An unmarked and rough track runs to the woodland area from the east of Lómagnúpur ( road 1) via Núpsvötn. Only accessable with special vechicles!
