Classic good Italian no fuss food and coffee. Don't ask for a soy latte!! Famously frequented by Circus Oz back in the 80's when they were the only cafe in the street. Artworks on the walls and a people watching place.

This place is an institution. And old fashioned too. Don't ask for a soy coffee. They'll look at you like you're from another planet. Fabulous service. Well executed food. Thumbs up!

A Fitzroy institution, Mario's is nearly 30 years young! Consistently delicious and fresh traditional Italian fare made with love. Whether it's a coffee, breakfast, lunch or dinner. Mario's is a must!
