If you are heading our way from Asheville on Hwy 63, this is a great little place to stop. They have an incredible bakery with homemade bread. The goat cheese is phenomenal. It's a small place with organic specialty items and great coffee.

This market and deli is a hot spot for locals. The menu is focused on local, picnic-friendly eats. They are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner most days. The market carries a wealth of sundries from local farms and producers - veggies, spices, beer, milk, eggs, and an assortment of needs.

This is a little hidden gem. Whether you are looking for a bag of chips and a kombucha, or a cup of plant based soup and a few fresh veggies for a salad.... they've got you covered. They also carry my favorite pickle okra! (I always get the spicy) :) This place is pretty close to the cottage and a great spot to stop in before you get here! Plus, the owner is SO NICE!!
