While it isn’t technically in Ballard, it had to be on the list, because this place serves some of the best fried chicken you can find. The sides are awesome, too. Be warned – their Nashville hot chicken is *truly* spicy. They mean business here! If you don’t like spice, you can get it “naked”.

A quirky tavern serving Nashville-style hot chicken that is nicely battered and fried. Choose from "naked (lil bit), medium (Seattle hot), hot (Nashville hot), and insane". I have only tried medium and it's spicy! Simple menu with southern-inspired starters, sides, sandwiches, and salad. They have beers by the cans, cocktails, and wine too. Remember to try their fried cotija corn.
