Love old churches? Then you'll love the Daraga Church. Also called the Nuestra Señora de la Porteria Parish Church, it was built in 1772 by the Franciscans in Daraga, Albay. It is known as the crowning glory of religious architecture in the province with a facade made from volcanic rocks. Fun fact: This is located just beside ALTA Residences!

The church is known for its Churrigueresque architectural style in its façade, a fine example of Baroque architecture. The façade and its walls are made out of volcanic rocks, which are rich in the area. The current white façade is the result of a coating of lime for protection from deterioration.
