This memorial was created by a local couple whose smart, beautiful son was lost in the Vietnam War. Heartbroken, this local man created a memorial for his son and all Vietnam Veterans which has since grown and includes a unique cathedral. This was a labor of love -- a father's life work -- and is worth seeing. It's a tear-jerker for sure, but really great to honor the fallen -- a number of which are honored with full stories on their service as written by the founding father until his death a few years ago.

The Vietnam Veteran memorial is in a beautiful setting. It was started by a father from Albuquerque who lost a son in Vietnam. Lots of information and bios of those who were lost in the war.

The Memorial includes a visitor center and museum, with a library of over 1,000 books and 2,000 photographs, memorabilia exhibits, touchable displays, artwork, and sculptures that provide a glimpse into the daily life of our troops. The Memorial also includes an amphitheater, a memorial walkway, memorial gardens, and a Huey Helicopter display,
