We have only recently stumbled across this place as has a new child’s play area but what a find. A lovely stream to relax next to whilst the children are occupied on the brand new outdoor play area. Food was top notch, about a 10 min drive from @no40 but if you tie in with Norbar these two places are great.

A lovely walk along the river from The Bothy. Traditional pub and pub grub with tables outside and a lovely beer garden beside the river.

In the neighbouring village of Tal y Bont, just a 15 minute walk, Ysgethin Inn is a delightful example of a traditional Welsh pub, serving food and a selection of beers.
