Sypes Canyon is a 6.2 mile heavily trafficked out and back trail located near Bozeman, Montana that features a river and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from July until October.

Our favorite trail for a quick hour hike. In and out trail. Parking at trailhead, or in overflow lot a few hundred feet before. Fantastic views of town and valley once at top. Partly shaded. Stream crossings.

A moderate climb to a worthy vista!! Can get pretty popular and crowded towards sunset but not to miss!
