It’s worth the drive to see this other-worldly site in the Great Salt Lake. A variety of species, both mammals and birds, populate this otherwise deserted 28,000-acre space. The annual bison roundup in October is a favorite tradition for many volunteer cowboys and others who enjoy watching and participating in the accompanying festivities.

Scenery and animals. Buffalo, occasionally antelope, Visitors center, and beautiful sunsets. There is food in the summer. Only 15 minutes to the Main Gate.
