Cute Rustic Cottage. The Giddings "Big Cottage" is one of our two vintage family cottages on Torch lake. It was built in the 1930's. It is fairly funky and rustic and old, so please do not book if you are looking for a hotel experience. But it is ON THE WATER. The beautiful, sandy, gradual beach is right in front of the cottage and is over 100 feet long. The water is shallow, gradual, clear to the bottom and ideal for kids. It is great for swimming, paddling, and boating.
