Locally owned tap room and pizzeria with fantastic gourmet pizza, salads and appetizers. Our personal faves -- chili beer cheese, Arizona Greens salad and the white pizza -- add their housemade pepperoni. The Tap Room has a great selection of whiskeys, craft beers and often has live music.

It carries great meats, a pretty good alcohol selection, firewood, and nearly every item you may suddenly realize you forgot to pack. They also have a small deli/bakery inside that makes really good fried chicken and pies.
Sightseeing
Tonto Natural Bridge is the largest natural travertine bridge in the world. Very well maintained trail down to the underside of the bridge. Keep your eye out for animals, especially javelina. They seem to like to hang around here.

We love BRR for its quietness and scenery. You'll need a battery operated boat or a kayak though.

Willow Springs is a great lake for fishing (stocked with trout, large mouth bass, sunfish) and for swimming. It's one of the few lakes with super easy access if you have a boat. If you don't, there is plenty of shoreline for casting or setting up your towels and blow ups for a day of sunning and swimming.
