Sightseeing
This is just a few blocks from the Airbnb and SLC's biggest park in downtown. Great for taking a stroll or going for a jog or bike ride. Liberty park hosts a farmers market on Friday evenings (starting back up on June 11th), but is a great place for a picnic anytime in the week. Tracy Aviary, America's largest and oldest bird park, is also inside the park.

A day hike that's right in town and always has plenty of free parking. I enjoy this trailhead, because you can choose how far or how difficult you want the hike to be. Sometimes I just like to grab a coffee and stay on the lower trails to enjoy the views of the mountains and the city below. The natural history museum and red Butte gardens are also located here and make for great day trips, as well!

The Living Room Trailhead
383 Colorow RdA day hike that's right in town and always has plenty of free parking. I enjoy this trailhead, because you can choose how far or how difficult you want the hike to be. Sometimes I just like to grab a coffee and stay on the lower trails to enjoy the views of the mountains and the city below. The natural history museum and red Butte gardens are also located here and make for great day trips, as well!

And again, this museum is located in the same place as The Living Room Trailhead and Red Butte Gardens. The building itself is stunning and the location is beautiful. Check out their website for which exhibits are being featured.

Another great place to go for a walk when the weather is nice. It's located a bit more within the city itself compared to the trailheads I have listed with great views of the capitol and downtown. If you wish to go for a longer walk, you can continue your way up City Creek Canyon to get even more beautiful views.

The stadium is only a few blocks from the Smiths Ballpark where our minor league baseball team, the Bees, play. I love going to these games, and being able to walk there is a big plus. Monday nights are family night where hot dogs are only $1 and Thirsty Thursdays means $3 drinks!
