Tallulah Gorge is very close to the villa. It's a must see! If you want to hike down the steps, be prepared! You do have to come back up, and it isn't for the faint of heart! There are several waterfall to visit in the gorge.

Lake Burton is the largest lake in Rabun County, and it's just down the street from the villa. There are all sorts of water activities to do there. You can rent boats and kayaks. You can also go fishing!

This is one of my favorite of the falls in the area. There is also a lovely easy hiking trail that takes you to a gorgeous overlook of the mountains.
