Admire it from the roadside observation deck or take the stairs down for a closer look. When the water level is low, it’s a great place to wade and splash.

Vance (1830-1894) The homestead is a five-room two-story log cabin with six log outbuildings: the corn crib, springhouse, smokehouse, loom house, slave house, and toolhouse. Buildings are furnished to evoke the period from 1795- 1840, including a few original pieces from the homestead. Admission is free, donations are accepted and appreciated.
