Cumbia Jam & Workshop - dive into CDMX's music dna

Mexico City's DNA is full of music and cumbia is a key part of it. In this experience you’ll join a 2 hour jam to create your very own cumbia band and dive deep into Mexico's musical culture and connect with musicians from its live music scene. We'll start with a welcome session in Casa Pepe where you'll learn about the idols of Mexican cumbia and take a simple, yet effective, intro workshop into how to play a cumbia. Then, we'll head to Banana Media Studio whereyou'll dive into a semi guided jam that will turn the group (what will probably start as a punk-diy ensemble) into a fun cumbia band that is almost ready to release its first song, has a band name, created its very own dance-step and even has an album cover design ready for printing. At the end of the jam you'll also receive a recording of the song - so your friends believe that you actually did create a cumbia band in Mexico City. You'll also connect with a couple of musicians from the Latin Alternative music scene, who will be able to point you in the direction of the best events, parties and sites to discover Mexico City's music culture properly. The best thing of this jam is that's great for beginners, full time musicians and those mom and dads that are into music but haven't had an excuse to play in a live band for years. Mexico City: Cinema History & Locations, Historic Center

Mexico City has a very important place in the history of cinematography. From the location of the very first movie theatre in the Americas we will take a short trip of Mexico's movie history before visiting many locations, even of Academy Award winning films, within the Historic Center. In the late 19th century, Mexican President Porfirio Díaz became the first acting Chief of State to appear on a moving picture. The very first screening of movies in the Americas, took place in 1896 at Chapultepec Castle, followed immediately with the first public showing at 'Droguería Plateros' and then, the establishment of a dedicated theatre, 'Salón Rojo.' We will visit the locations of these two places while I share the history of movies and the Mexican influence in Hollywood through Dolores del Río and Ramón Novarro. As we arrive at the main square of town, we will visit locations of acclaimed productions like Roma, Missing, 007 Spectre, 007 License to Kill, Frida and many others. We will be at the places visited by Denzel Washington, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Salma Hayek, Daniel Craig, Leonardo di Caprio, Jack Lemmon and many others. At the end of the experience, we will finish at the locations for sci-fi movies like Godzilla: King of Monsters and that of Mexican wrestlers of 'Lucha Libre' like Santo and Blue Demon.

Lucha Libre, Ringside seats guaranteed

Welcome!!! This is a Low-cost VIP Lucha Libre Experience! You´ll live Lucha libre as locals do, with the same passion and energy. I can guarantee you seats in the first 8 rows (most of the times first 3 rows) , depending on your booking anticipation. At first we´ll go to a restaurant, where you can have some good food and drinks, but the restaurant is only a tasty pretext to talk about Lucha Libre. Vegan and Vegetarian options are available. (bill is not included) At the restaurant, I will explain you the history, rules, movements and all the basics you need to know to enjoy Mexican Wrestling. After the restaurant we will walk (15 to 20 minutes) straight to the Arena Mexicoooooooo (Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays) or Arena Coliseoooooooo! (Satudays) Before we get our seats, we will pass through the official store and non official stands swhere you can buy any souvenir you want. You can do it either before or after the match. If you want to buy any souvenirs I highly recommend you to bring Mexican pesos , as dollars or credit cards are not always accepted. Teotihuacan Scavenger Hunt ⭐️⭐⭐⭐⭐

Enjoy a unique day at Teotihuacan, in the " Best Airbnb world Award experience 2022-2023". We will provide a comfortable early transportation from the meeting point at Monumento a la Revolución to Teotihuacán. You will enjoy a guided an amusing group tour in English through the archaeological site ,where you will be able to decipher the mysteries of a city. You will admire the Sun and the Moon Pyramids. You will feel energy and power at the Feathered SerpentTemple. Please take in consideraron that it is not allowed to climb some of the pyramids anymore. After all the excitement, we will encounter the "Teotihuacan underworld", which means eating inside a cave. We will have a light lunch or a snack in a private cave. This experience is Excellent for team building activities. *Note: We will be back at Monumento a la Revolución at 3:30-4:30 pm. This will be the drop off for all the guests. Teotihuacan Great Tour

The adventures starts at 7:35-7:40 am at Monumento a la Revolución, where we will depart to Teotihuacan in a private group van (50 min.) You will have a fun guided group tour in English through the greatest pyramids of the Sun and the Moon. You will be amazed in the Citadel by the mysteries hidden under the Feathered Serpent temple. We will continue our tour to the most fascinating activity, enter to the underworld (cave) where, we will have a light lunch or snack inside an ancient cave excavated by the Teotihuacans 2000 years ago. We are going to have a great time!!! but please take in consideration: We will be back to México , the DROP OFF will be at Monumento a la Revolución between 3:30- 4:30 pm.
