Our cabin is a quiet getaway, in a small neighborhood behind the Famous Mayhill Cafe on Hwy 82. It's a small 1 bedroom with a extra sofa sleeper and futon in the living room. We have a BIG covered deck, with pleasant views and outdoor living space for outdoor dining and BBQ. Mayhill is a cool escape from the summer heat down the mountain. We're 17 miles from Cloudcroft and about one hour from Artesia, a little farther to Carlsbad and Roswell. This is a prime hunting area for Elk, Deer, Turkey.
