Army beach is a popular sunbathing spot, and one of the warmest and shallowest places to swim in the Yukon, which makes it great for kids. It is a bay with beige sand, surrounded by forest and scenic mountains. It is part of marsh lake and flows north into the iconic Yukon River. In April it is a good time to see migrating swans coming North. Being on the edge of the tree line we have had wildlife sitings so always be aware of what is around you and keep a close eye on children and pets.

PLEASE NOTE: You'll need a vehicle to stay here. There's no public transport. Basement suite is located at army beach, about a 30 minute drive from Whitehorse. There is a small private basic kitchen area, and a private living area with a smart TV and DVD collection. The property is a three minute walk from the lake and a perfect spot to watch northern lights in the winter months. There is also a outdoor fireplace with hammocks to enjoy a few drinks.
