Nestled between 3 historic towns on the banks of the Wye, we're a stone's throw from the Brecon Beacons & Black Mountains: an ideal base for exploring mid-Wales. There are hiking & cycling routes from the doorstep, & wild swimming, kayaking & climbing spots nearby. For quiet days in, you can sit by the garden's cascading brook & neighbouring woods, laze in the sunny porch or snuggle up by the fire.

Caban y Bryn is a secluded, off-grid, truly beautful space with breathtaking views over unspoilt welsh hills approximately 20 mins from Hay-on-Wye. Accessed through a small wood it has a 2 burner hob, woodburner, sink with hot and cold water complete with crockery and pots and pans. It sits in half an acre of land with private parking, a composting loo and outdoor private hot shower. Solar power is available for charging phones etc. There is no wifi but 4G works v well on certain networks.

The cottage has lovely views over the surrounding hills and countryside. Erwood is a beautiful village and is perfect for walking and fishing due to it's proximity to the River Wye. It is 20 minutes from Hay on Wye, Brecon, Talgarth and Builth Wells.
