Accessible through its own front door (accessed via a number-lock gate down the side of the main house), and separated from our family home by a door that's locked on both sides. The flat is completely self-contained and you can come and go as you please. It has been recently decorated and has a modern feel. The flat is set about 30m back from the road, but there is plenty of on-road parking. It has WiFi.
