Established in Jericho in 1986 by Bob Pollak (a second generation confectioner) and his wife Martha, the business has grown to include three generations. Handcrafted from recipes that have been a family tradition for over 50 years our chocolates are a Vermont tradition. Our company name was inspired by Jericho's renowned historical figure Wilson A. Bentley, affectionately known as "Snowflake Bentley". A local farmer, Bentley became known for his work in photomicrography. In 1885 he became the first person to photograph a single ice crystal. During his life time Bentley photographed over 5000 snowflakes not finding any two alike.
