The IYRS 2.5 acre waterfront campus includes historic industrial buildings, a marina that hosts a fleet of beautifully restored classic yachts and a yard with historically important boats awaiting restoration. Come watch the students at work, tour our collection of historic wooden boats, including the 1885 schooner Coronet. IRYS is a not-for-profit educational institution, with a full-time, state licensed vocational program in the restoration and construction of classic watercraft.
