Incredible and moving history of the Civil Rights movement in Birmingham and beyond.
This is a remarkable place. It really shows how unfairly people of color were treated. It was very well done. You could easily spend all day here. A must do if you are in the Birmingham area. Every corner you turn in the museum can give you a "Wow" moment.
This is a powerful memorial to the Civil Rights struggle in the American South as well as the worldwide struggle for human rights today. If you have time, also visit the church and Kelly Ingram Park
