The food is amazing. Right off the blue ridge parkway. They also have amazing local jams and butters.

Christa's has the best chicken and dumplings in the state! See if you can tell what the secret ingredient is -I think it's pork bullion. Christa's also has ah-mazing deserts! While here, pick up gifts for your dog-sitters. Christa's even stocks a cure-all salve that is made by our local postmistress.
