Hørsholm Church is beautifully situated on an island in the middle of the lake in Hørsholm Castle Gardens. The church is located where the now demolished Hirschholm Castle was located. It was designed by architect C.F. Hansen, who also designed the Cathedral in Copenhagen. Above the altar is a plaster cast of Berthel Thorvaldsen's relief 'The Supper'. The baptismal font is made of wood and originates from Hirschholm Castle Church.
