Avondale is a trendy area with lots of great restaurants, a beautiful park, Sozo Trading Co thrift store, food trucks and more! Weekends there is open-air dining

Walkable in 10 minutes. There's a nice pond with a walking trail, plus a play area with slides and swings for kids.

Walking trail around the pond. About a 10 minute walk from The Carriage House. Birmingham Public Library also located next to the park.

The park has green spaces, an amphitheater, ducks, and playground areas. It also sometimes offers festivals and movies
