The art gallery is an iconic building and has charming and personable staff. If you can catch an opening night, there's a curator's presentation, appies and a cash bar. Admission is free on Thursdays.

The Kamloops Art Gallery has an amazing gift shop with items from a lot of local artists. It is also one of my go-to places to find gifts. Their stuff is very unique and you can find something in any budget. The Art Gallery itself is also a cool activity to do, and as it's attached to the library, it is also great for families!
