We've lived here since 2005 (my husband Kevin since 1987). Love being in proximity to mountains, lakes, beaches, trails, food, breweries, art, shopping, shows, and yes, four seasons!!

One of our favorite towns. It’s a ride up the highway (about 40 min) but if you have the time, it’s worth a visit! The Old Port waterfront features working fishing wharves and converted warehouses with restaurants and shops. Nearby, the Western Promenade is a public park atop a bluff, offering river and mountain views. Its surrounding district, the West End, is full of Victorian-era homes, including the Victoria Mansion museum.

A Foodie Haven, with new top-notch restaurants popping up every year. You can also catch a ferry to one of the nearby islands for a day-trip. Peak's Island is a favorite.
