A must do if you can: Go to Bicentennial Park during the day and find the circle of bells. Every 15 minutes they play a song, but on each hour they play the Tennessee Waltz and then chime the hour... listen closely though -- after the final chime, the bell tower on the Capitol building will respond…
Nice park next to Capitol Hill, has a lot of monuments dedicated to history of the city. Visit the Nashville Farmer’s Market right next door. Lots of lunch food and local buys!
Beautiful park! The chimes sound every 15 minutes during the day and you get a full song at the top of every hour. Grab some local food from the Farmer's Market next door and enjoy the afternoon.
Located in the heart of downtown in the shadow of TN State Capitol. Contains 200-foot-wide granite map of TN . Wonderful Park for a nice stroll – TN state Museum and Farmer’s Market located at the same area.
It is a place where we find what is the history of World War I and II, all the people who died at that time and even the culture of that time, the people who sang among others.

“This tiny coffee & crepes shop is a super casual neighborhood spot. I usually see people working on their laptops there and having lunch meetings over crepes. It's also kid-friendly in that it's casual and there are lots of kid-friendly options. My kids like basics like scrambled eggs, sausage, and fruit for breakfast and the nutella crepe as a treat. Randy likes the breakfast tacos and I usually get the savory sweet "maple bacon" crepe (that also has apple and cheese in it). The coffee drinks here are not as sophisticated as some of the other places nearby (like Barista Parlor or Steadfast Coffee), but we're happy with the basic lattes, and somewhat affordable menu here (especially for Germantown!). ”

“This is my favorite restaurant in Nashville. It’s not cheap but not super expensive either. The coconut curry salmon is unbelievable as is the French onion soup. They also have a great (and inexpensive) brunch with the best shrimp and grits I’ve ever had in my life (including in New Orleans). If you’ve never had grits or don’t know what they are, these would be a great first taste.”

“This is a true Nashville classic, southern family-style breakfast/lunch spot. You WILL be eating at a table that seats about 6-10 people, FYI they seat you with others! The food in insanely good. Breakfast staples, biscuits, fried chicken, etc. Not for those trying to eat light or clean!”
