Lake Oroville Visitor Center has an excellent museum with exhibits about Oroville Dam and Native American history. There is a 47-foot tower viewing tower with two high-powered telescopes offering views of the lake, Sierra Nevadas, valley, foothills, and the Sutter Buttes mountain range.

A really cool visitor center with history about the dam and Native Americans. There is also a large viewing tower that overlooks the lake!
