Monster Bar has become the poster child of Canberra ‘cool’. The main dining area is worth a visit. The menu is mostly share plates of local produce. Try to get a table near the fireplace. Reservations highly recommended

This is a great place to catch up with friends for dinner with plenty of share plates on offer. The food is amazing, be sure to try the pulled lamb shoulder. If you're solo or even with a group find a cosy couch near the fire and settle in for the afternoon with a glass of local wine.

Sean McConnell might be out but if you’re seeking a foodie experience, Monster is worth the Uber. The hotel lobby is a cosy spot to sit with a coffee or glass of red, too.

if its cold go here for the fireside drinks. if you want quiet drink this place is also great.

“"Words can’t describe how incredible this place is. When they said my coffee would have hints of orange and spring (spring time marmalade) I didn’t realise they meant it! The food was out of this world. So yummy! While the prices may not be favourable to some it’s definitely worth every penny and then some! Staff were fantastic and very knowledgeable.
