I mentioned the zoo, but at the park there's also skating. It's fun whether you want to play hockey or just figure skate. Park includes tennis courts and playgrounds too. Great place for a short walk.

Rental boats of many kinds plus SUP and good fishing. Pleasant breezes on warm days at lakefront benches or on lawn blankets. Big park with lots of space for quiet, picnics. Includes basket- and baseball, boathouse with snacks, play structure, soccer fields.
